Revolut is way better with friends. You can send and request money from each other for free, attach funny GIFs, split the bill at restaurants and, if you’re planning a cheeky holiday together, spend abroad with a great exchange rate.
NOTE: 50 RON = ~$12 / ~€10
This is the message I’ve received today from Revolut! And that’s pretty awesome since for about 2 months now I’m using this service and I can say that I’m super impressed by how smooth works with micro-payments, online payments, and the best feature, the split-bill option.
But wait, what is Revolut?
That’s a good question! As per the first result, you can get over the internet, Revolut is a UK financial technology company that offers banking services including a pre-paid debit card (Mastercard or Visa), currency exchange, cryptocurrency exchange and peer-to-peer payments. The Revolut mobile app supports spending and ATM withdrawals in 120 currencies and sending in 29 currencies directly from the app. It also provides customers access to cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), and XRP by exchanging to or from 25 fiat currencies; however, cryptocurrencies remain locked in the app and cannot be moved to another cryptocurrency wallet.
Revolut currently charges no fees for the majority of its services (but for a capped usage), and uses interbank exchange rates for its currency exchange on weekdays, and charge a markup from 0.5% to 1.5% on weekends.
The London-based startup was founded by Nikolay Storonsky and Vlad Yatsenko. The company initially was based in Level39, a financial technology incubator in Canary Wharf, London.
Personally I also like the fact that if you will use Revolut for a longer period, you will be able to see on which you spend most of your money – basically is kind of a spend/wallet app as well 🙂 that is great and as feedback, maybe the Revolut team will work a bit more on that to add new features, for sure they will get a lot of clients/users if the application will offer such useful features.
Anyway, now that you have an idea on what this Revolut service is, I think you might give it a try and at least get the FREE card and those $10-$12 bucks 🙂 you have to click this link in order to get the bonus.
