Highlights from the HostPedia Interview
HostPedia interview conversations are always a great opportunity to share insights about the hosting industry. Recently, I had the pleasure of speaking with Larisa from HostPedia.ro for an in-depth interview about ChemiCloud — how we started, what drives us, and where we are heading.
Conversations like this are always meaningful to me, especially when they happen with people who truly understand the hosting space and care about helping users make better decisions. HostPedia has been doing exactly that — bringing transparency, comparisons, and real insights into an industry that can often feel overwhelming for many entrepreneurs.
During this HostPedia interview I had the opportunity to share more about our journey, our philosophy, and the principles that guide everything we build at ChemiCloud.
How ChemiCloud Started
ChemiCloud started with a very simple idea: hosting should be reliable, fast, and backed by real support — not just marketing promises.
From day one, we focused on building a service that prioritizes stability, performance, and customer experience. Instead of overselling resources or cutting corners, we chose to invest in infrastructure, people, and long-term reliability.
That philosophy still defines us today.
Built for Small Businesses Worldwide
While we’ve seen strong growth in markets like Romania, ChemiCloud has always been built with a global mindset.
Our mission is to support small and medium-sized businesses around the world — whether you’re launching your first website, running an online store, or scaling a growing digital business.
No matter the location, the needs are often the same: fast loading websites, consistent uptime, strong security, and a support team that’s actually there when it matters.
This is exactly what we aim to deliver, every single day.
Performance That Makes a Difference
One of the core areas we continuously invest in is performance.
Our platform is built on modern infrastructure powered by latest-generation CPUs, high-performance NVMe storage, and carefully optimized server environments.
We use technologies like LiteSpeed Web Server, advanced caching layers, and optimized database configurations to ensure websites load fast and remain responsive even under pressure.
But beyond the technology itself, what really matters is how it’s implemented. We focus heavily on resource allocation and server stability to avoid overcrowding — which is one of the most common issues in low-cost hosting environments.
The result is simple: consistent performance, not just peak benchmarks.
Reliability and Uptime You Can Trust
For any online business, uptime is critical. Even short interruptions can mean lost revenue, lost trust, and missed opportunities.
That’s why we’ve built our infrastructure with redundancy in mind — from network-level failover to hardware reliability and proactive monitoring systems.
We don’t just aim for uptime on paper — we focus on real-world stability that our customers can depend on.
Support That Actually Helps
Another area that defines ChemiCloud is support.
We operate a 24/7 global support team, but what matters most is not just availability — it’s the quality of the interaction.
Our goal is simple: when a customer reaches out, they should get a real solution, not a generic response.
Whether it’s a technical issue, a migration, or performance optimization, our team is trained to go beyond basic support and actually assist in a meaningful way.
Security by Default
Security is not an add-on — it’s built into everything we offer.
All our hosting plans include essential protections such as free SSL certificates, daily backups, malware scanning, server-level firewalls, and DDoS protection.
We also continuously monitor our systems to detect and prevent issues before they impact our customers.
Looking Ahead
We are constantly evolving.
From infrastructure upgrades to automation and new technologies, our focus remains on improving both performance and user experience.
We’re also exploring ways to integrate smarter systems — including AI-driven tools — to further simplify hosting management for our customers.
A Personal Note
I’d like to thank Larisa and the entire HostPedia team for the opportunity and for the great discussion.
It’s always refreshing to have conversations that go beyond surface-level topics and truly explore what it takes to build reliable services in this industry.
